Kniga o voschozhdenii inoka. Pervoe sobranie (traktaty I—VI)

Pervyj tom sochinenij mar Ischaka Ninevijskogo, izvestnyj kak «Kniga o voschozhdenii inoka» otnositsya k klassicheskim sochineniyam christianskogo Vostoka konca pozdnej antichnosti (VII v.). Ono posvyashheno izlozheniyu psichologicheskich, filosofskich i prakticheskich osnov vostochno-christianskogo asketicheskogo ucheniya, kotoroe sledovalo za grecheskoj christiansko-platonicheskoj tradiciej. Traktaty byli napisany na sirijskom (aramejskom) yazyke i perevedeny v IX v. na grecheskij. V izdanii vpervye v rossijskoj nauke dan kommentirovannyj perevod na russkij s sirijskogo yazyka s uchetom raznochtenij i grecheskoj versii. Publikacii teksta predposlano predislovie napisannoe pri uchastii mezhdunarodnoj gruppy uchenych, osvetivshich razlichnye aspekty izucheniya mar Ischaka i ego tvorenij.The book is a Russian translation from the Syriac original of the first six memrē (treatises) from the First Collection by mar Ishaq of Nineveh, known as St Isaac the Syrian. Ishaq’s treatises were translated into Greek and strongly influenced Greek and Slavic Orthodox teaching since the 9th c. Translation is paralleled by the original text from Bedjan’s edition (1909) with minor emendations. The text is prefaced with a study of the biography of Ishaq, Syriac manuscript tradition and of all known translations (Greek, Arabic, Ethiopic, Georgian etc.). A survey of Ishaq’s psychology and mystical teaching and of some problems of understanding Ishaq’s thought are given as well.
