This book is devoted to a significant milestone of the contemporary strategic planning and governance development — the Federal Law of the Russian Federation on strategic planning issued in 2014. The law belongs among the best practice of public governance and deserves attention of academics and practitioners around the world. The law shapes one of the approaches to the legal regulation of planning and plans enriching the legal theory. The authors analyse the new developments of strategic planning in the 21st century in Russia showing its historical and contemporary context. Special attention is paid to the issue of strategic planning within the Eurasian economic integration.
