«Nash Avangard» – an Unprecedented Artistic Revolution of the Early 20th Century at the Russian Museum On June 21, a new exhibition in the Benois Wing will open its doors to visitors, showcasing for the first time on such a scale the masterpieces of avant-garde classics!
The Russian Museum holds the largest, most diverse, and comprehensive collection of Russian avant-garde works in the world. In 20 halls, we will present artworks by all the great masters: Kazimir Malevich, Wassily Kandinsky, Natalia Goncharova, Mikhail Larionov, Olga Rozanova, Lyubov Popova, Marc Chagall, Pavel Filonov, Mikhail Matyushin, Elena Guro, and others.
The exhibition includes over 400 exhibits and highlights the epochal diversity of Russian avant-garde.
