Ischodja iz svoich del, avtor svidetel′stvuet o prave čeloveka byt′ ne sredstvom, a cel′ju sučšestvovanija i dejatel′nosti gosudarstva, v kotorom idealy svobody, ravenstva, spravedlivosti sostavljajut vysšie principy osučšestvlenija ugolovnogo pravosudija i obespečivajut spokojstvie pravovogo sostojanija graždanskogo občšestva, opredeljaja vsë naše povedenie. / One of the 676 judicial sentences was written by Judge Vladimir Arsentiev on a short night by candlelight in a remote northern village of Eastern Siberia at the turn of the century. This book was born 20 years later, while the spring of 2020 was blooming. Based on personal experience, the author tells about the human right to be not a means, but the goal of the existence of the state, where the ideals of freedom, equality, justice constitute the highest principles of criminal justice and ensure the tranquility of the legal state of civil society, determining all our behavior.
